Fine Arts
I have worked professionally as a visual artist since 2011, developing an independent artistic practice alongside my work in illustration, graphic design, and digital design. My practice focuses especially on painting, illustration, drawing, and visual storytelling, with an interest in identity, memory, perception, and the layers of human experience.
Over the years, my work has been exhibited in galleries, cultural venues, and exhibitions across Finland. I have also been invited to participate in exhibitions as a visual artist, including exhibitions at Telakka Gallery in Tampere, LaFiaba Gallery in Jyväskylä, and Next Step Gallery in Helsinki.
In 2021, I was selected as one of five artists to create work for the Museum of Contemporary Emotions. I have also received numerous grants in support of my artistic work from organisations including Taike, Grafia, and the Finnish Illustration Association. Alongside exhibitions, my hand-drawn animations have been screened at international film and animation festivals across Europe.
Today, I continue to develop my artistic practice through painting and other visual forms, with a particular focus on contemporary portraiture and expressive use of colour.
Next Step — Kookos Gallery, Helsinki (2025)
Photos from the opening of Next Step, a group exhibition held in Helsinki from 21 January to 1 February 2025. I was invited to participate in the exhibition alongside nine other artists. The exhibition explored the idea of taking the next step, new perspectives, change and the courage to move forward.

Unseen Faces — Solo Exhibition, DesignKaverit Studio, Helsinki (2025)
Unseen Faces is an acrylic painting series that explores the depths of the human mind through the colour spectrum. The works depict thoughts, emotions and experiences as layers of colour, reflecting how the mind is constantly shaped by memory, adaptation, change and the search for acceptance.
The series also explores fragmented memory and the conscious and unconscious influences that shape our sense of self. Each colour and layer represents different aspects of the mind, some visible and others emerging subtly through everyday experiences.
The titles of the works are borrowed from music that resonates with the deeper layers of the human psyche. Together, the titles and paintings create an atmosphere of subtle melancholy, reflecting the ongoing search for an authentic voice in a world shaped by expectations, roles and the pressure to adapt.
Muotoja luonnosta —Grafia’s Luonnos Gallery, Helsinki (2023)
Photos from the opening of Muotoja luonnosta at Grafia’s newly established Luonnos Gallery in Helsinki, where I was invited to exhibit my Rhodophyta textile designs. The exhibition was the gallery’s inaugural show, bringing together seven artists whose works explored nature and the environment through visual communication and creative design.
